The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions.
Parents, please complete the survey using your personal computer, smartphone, or tablet.
For those of you who do not have access to the Internet, please stop by the school to access and complete the survey.
I'm encouraging all parents to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating.
Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey is also available in Spanish. You may select the Spanish version within the survey. The Georgia Parent Survey link is posted below.

PTSA Chick-Fil-A Biscuit Sale
Chick-fil-a chicken biscuits will be sold by the Lewis PTSA at the morning car rider line on the second Friday of each month. The cost is $3.00 a biscuit while supplies last.
Thank You Lewis PTSA!
Mr. Sproat & the Lewis Elementary Media Center would like to thank our wonderful PTSA & the Lewis community for their fundraising support!
Their tremendous effort raised $11,642.73! We are excited for this amazing kick-start to our learning commons transition!
Simply put, a learning commons is the future of the media center/school library. It utilizes design and programming concepts that transform the traditional library into a more innovative, adaptive, and creative space.
We are excited to begin this journey, and we thank our amazing PTSA and Lewis family for supporting us!
Cobb Launches SafeSchools Alert Tipline
The Cobb County School District is dedicated to a comprehensive school safety effort, and the safety of students and staff is our top priority. That’s why the Cobb County School District has taken another step to safeguard Cobb schools and community. Students, staff members, and parents are now able to report safety concerns from anywhere, at any time, via the new SafeSchools Alert tip line.
Each member of our school family can easily report tips, anonymously if desired, on bullying, harassment, drugs, vandalism, threats of violence, or other safety issues of concern.
Every tip submitted through the SafeSchools Alert will be immediately logged and routed to the appropriate administrator to investigate and take appropriate action.
Students, staff members, and parents can submit a tip to the SafeSchools Alert via the web, phone, email, or text. When submitting a tip, include the Cobb County School District identification code 1760 in order to designate the tip as related to Cobb Schools.
The Tip Line will be going live in phases:
January 22nd for our High Schools
January 28th for our Middle Schools
February 4th for our Elementary Schools
Download the SafeSchools Alert app today for free in the Apple App Store or get it on Google Play.
